Outback Journey to Alice Springs and Beyond

Join us for a bespoke 5 day expedition from Uluru to Alice Springs and beyond exploring the beauty of the central Australian outback, the mystery of the sacred sites and the spirit of the land. 


Travelling on a round trip from Ayers Rock Resort and back again, we will take in places like the mystical, sacred Devil Marbles, West MacDonnell Ranges, Stanley Chasm, Simpsons Gap, Ormiston Gorge and a visit to the quirky town of Weycliffe Wells, this will be a great way to unwind after the conference and assimilate all the healings and transformation in a group of like-minded souls.  With sound healing sessions, group meditations and sacred light journeys in some of Australia's most ancient places, this is bound to be another adventure full of synchronicity and connection.

Day 1 -  Yulara to Kings Canyon

Quintessential outback touring

The day at a glance:

  • Depart Sails in the Desert @ 9am

  • Arrive Kings Canyon approx @ 4pm

  • Sunset at Kings Canyon

Experience the outback of Australia's centre as we get to settle back and relax in air-con comfort​ to Kings Canyon on an easy trip of around 3.5 hours, stopping for sightseeing and lunch along the way. The drive from Uluru is said by many to be one of the most spectacular drives in the world. We'll experience the beauty of Kings Canyon at Sunset followed by a meditation.  An early night is recommended back at the Kings Canyon hotel before an early morning start tomorrow.

Day 2 -  Kings Canyon to Alice Springs

Canyon Secrets and Sacred Mysteries

The day at a glance:

  • Depart @ 6am with breakfast enroute

  • Day trip taking in various sacred sites around Kings Canyon

  • Arrive back at Alice Springs hotel @ 4pm

  • Free evening to explore the town highlights 

Today we travel to the Watarrka National Park at the western end of the George Gill Range to behold  the impressive Kings Canyon. Climb the escaprment to take in the magnificent views of the Red Centre then embark on the Rim Walk through the beehive-like sandstone domes that are the haven of more than 600 species of plants. 

Kings Canyon is considered botanically the richest region in central Australia.


As an alternative to the Rim Walk, you may choose an easier walk through the Kings Creek Walk and marvel at the canyon walls that rise up more than 300m from the valley floor. There's also an option of exploring Kathleen Springs.

We are spending the day with a professional SEIT Outback Australia guide  who can help you with what choice is best for you.  

We'll depart Kings Canyon for some fun on the adventure to Alice Springs for a swim or time to explore the iconic town of Alice Springs.

Day 3 - West MacDonnell Ranges and Ormiston Gorge

  • Depart  @ 8.30am 

  • Day trip to West MacDonnell Ranges

  • Arrive back at hotel @ 9pm

Today we spend the day on a  professionally guided tour the West MacDonnell Ranges known for their magnificent gaps and gorges, drmaatic scenery and red granite quartzite peaks. We'll explore some of the sacred and historical locations in the area such as Stanley Chasm, Simpson's Gap, Ellery Creek Bighole, Serpentine Gorge, the Ochre Pitts, Redbank Gorge and Gosse Buffe as well as the stunning Ormiston Gorge.


Ormiston Gorge offers a beautiful opportunity for a cool dip in the natural pool surrounded by towering red cliffs of the gorge. The surrounding area offers an Ormiston Pound Walk, including the spectacular Ghost Gum Walk where you can spot native flora and fauna.   


Our sunset stop tonight includes a group meditation followed by appetisers, sparkling wine and orange juice.

Day 4 - Wycliffe Wells -- Devils Marbles

Feel the Energies​

The day at a glance:

  • Depart @ 7.30am for a day trip 

  • Anmatjere Man lunch stop

  • Stop at Wycliffe Wells (UFO hotspot of Australia)

  • Sunset at Devils Marbles   

We depart this morning headed north of Alice Springs to Karlu Karlu or Devils Marbles. The large boulders are culturally and spiritually significant to the land’s traditional Aboriginal owners. Along the way we'll have a stop for a group photo opportunity at the Tropic of Capricorn Marker.  Our lunch stop will be at the  Aileron Roadhouse  to see the Anmatjere Man on top of the hill. One of the day's highlights will be a visit to the  quirky town of Wycliffe Wells, the self-proclaimed UFO Capital of Australia.


Continuing on to Devils Marbles, we will  explore the beauty of this sacred site in the best part of the day - late afternoon.  After exploring the Karlu Karlu energies, and seeing the deep red colours of the giant boulders, we'll enjoy sunset with sparkling wine and canapes.

Tonight is a free night to have drinks at the hotel or have an early night.

Day 5 -  Back to Uluru via Alice 

Ancient Mysteries​ and Sacred Places

The day at a glance:

  • Depart for guided walk around Devils Marbles @ 6.30am

  • Depart Wauchope @ 9am

  • Travel back to Alice Springs

  • Stop at Alice Springs airport for drop off (if desired)

  • Arrive back to Yulara Resort @ 7pm

This morning we will enjoy a guided walk around Devils Marbles before departing Wauchope (Devils Marbles) and commencing the drive back to Alice Springs, with a stop along the way at Ti Tree Roadhouse for lunch.  Along the way we'll be stopping at the Highest Point Marker (highest point of the Stuart Highway).
