You want to come to the Conference... so where do you start?

GETTING TO NORFOLK ISLAND

Norfolk Island is a tiny island paradise in the South Pacific, about half way between the east coast of Australia and New Zealand.  It is an external Australian territory using Australian currency.

Here's our Quick & Easy Guide to get you there - ready for massive upgrades, insights and connections.

STEP ONE:  PLAN YOUR DATES

Norfolk Island is so beautiful, we highly recommend spending  a day or so either side of the Conference so you can take your time to truly get a taste of this exquisite paradise.
Flights from Australia are with Qantas and fly direct from both Sydney 3 days a week, one flight a day  (Sunday, Monday and Friday) and Brisbane airports (Tuesday and Thursday).

Direct flights from New Zealand are with Air Chathams, which commence their service from 1 September 2022.

STEP TWO:  BOOK YOUR FLIGHT

Contact our travel manager, Jan McLeod, to make your flight arrangements. Email Jan with your enquiry janmcleodtravel@westnet.com.au. We recommend you take travel insurance so to protect you if flights are changed.  Of course, you can book your flights directly via the Qantas and Air Chathams websites.

STEP THREE:  RESERVE YOUR ROOM

There are many types of accommodation on Norfolk Island, all within a short drive of conference facilities. We also have 4 properties that are offering our delegates the best possible rates.  Delegate accommodation bookings will be available shortly.

STEP FOUR:  REGISTER FOR YOUR CONFERENCE SEAT

WHAT TOURIST ACTIVITIES SHOULD I BOOK?

Tourist activities are well planned and plentiful on Norfolk Island.  If you are a history fan of the Fletcher Christian and the Bounty Mutineers, or the convict settlements here, you'll find so many interesting tours.  Of course you can spend hours in the museums as well.  There are gardening tours, and trips to the home of author Colleen McCulloch.

Click HERE for a list of 101 Things to do on Norfolk Island.

There are two main tourism outlets on Norfolk Island, Baunti Tours and Pinetree Tours. You can book other activities by clicking on he button below.  Otherwise when you arrive, book in at the tourist centre or check out the NI Tourism website below.

Some of our favourite tours are the Glass Bottom Boat experience, Colleen McCulloch's house tour and the Kingston Convict tour.
